Sandra Louise Callahan Porter

Sandra Louise Porter 77 of Indianapolis, IN, passed away November 12, 2012. She was born July 29, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN to Joseph Michael and Susan Blanche Shepherd Callahan. She was involved in the Mutual Service Association, the Phi Beta Psi Sorority and was a member of the Eastgate Christian Church. She worked for the Daseke Insurance Agency for 21 years before retiring in 2000. She was a Colts and Pacers fan and loved to travel. She is preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband of 49 years, O.H. Porter, children, Angela Sue (Gordon) Hyatt and Daren Ross Porter, sister, Janet (James) Normington, and granddaughters, Madison and Riley. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM, Friday, November 16, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN. The funeral will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the Funeral Center. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Sandra's family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff at GreenTree at Post Road for the manner in which they cared for her.
