Sandra Lichte

Sandra Joyce Lichte, 77 of Carmel, passed away at her home Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Sandra was born November 5, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Timothy A. and Olive Smith Brothers. She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Sandra enjoyed water skiing, golfing, bowling square dancing and travel. She had visited many European cities including Rome and Vatican City. She had been responsible for organizing the Ben Davis High School reunion. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 22 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Friends and family are invited to gather from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, November 21 at Flanner and Buchanan Carmel. Sandra is survived by her husband, Carl F. Lichte; children, Cynthia (James) Eaton, Mark (Tami) Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell, Debbra (Jack) Charnley, Brenda (Phil) Harris, Karen Morgan, 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Sue Sears.
