Sandra Kranning

Sandra Kay Vogel Kranning 63, Of Indianapolis, died November 1, 2013. Sandra was born May 6, 1950 to Melvin J and Georgia Mae Bundy Vogel in Osmond, Nebraska. She worked in the cafeteria at North Central High School for 20 years, before retiring in 2003. When she wasn't working she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Melvin J. Vogel. She is survived by her husband Merle E. Kranning, her daughters Shawn (Stephen) Crawford, Christina Kranning, son Jason Kranning, mother Georgia Mae Vogel, brothers Larry and Ronny Vogel, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013, from 4-8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Broad Ripple. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30am at the funeral center. Burial will follow the services in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
