Sandra Kay Harris

One of the most beautiful women, inside and out, closed her eyes for the last time on September 30, 2021.  Sandra passed away peacefully in her home after a valiant fight against chronic lung disease and other health issues.  Those who knew her well knew the fight she fought.  Sandra was born on April 11, 1946 in Clinton County, Kentucky.  Sandra worked as a bartender and waitress for most of her younger years, later in life she worked in the research field where she retired from.  Sandra was preceded in death by parents, Joyce Conover and Lorin G. Harris, Sr. and her sister, Nora Feeney.  Sandra is survived by her son, Timothy Head; daughter-in-law Joanne; sister, Norma Gibson; brothers, Robert Simpson and Lorin G. Harris; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.  Service will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10 am at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.
