Sandra Jean Ingalls, affectionately known as Sandy, departed this life on July 12, 2025, at the age of 81 in Speedway, Indiana. Born on March 23, 1944, in Binghamton, New York, she graced the world with her presence for over eight decades, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

Sandy's professional journey was marked by her accomplishments as a talented hair stylist and a dedicated representative for Estee Lauder. However, those who knew her best recognized that her most cherished role was as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Among her proudest achievements was her deep involvement in the life of her beloved granddaughter, Molly Grace Ingalls Bates, a testament to her enduring legacy and the bonds of family that she held dear.

Sandy is survived by her devoted husband, Bryant Ingalls; her son, L David Ingalls; her daughter, Lynn Ingalls-Bates; son in law Martin Bates, her cherished niece, Audrey Olsen; and her beloved granddaughter, Molly Grace Ingalls Bates.
