85, of Indianapolis passed awaypeacefully on August 4, 2016. He was a lovingHusband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was born September 10, 1930 in Fortville,Indiana, to the late M. Dennison and Mary M. (Wood) Myers. He was preceded in death by a sister,Virginia P. (Lawrence) Scholl and a grandchild, Joshua B. Myers. Sam was very active at Crooked Creek BaptistChurch, Pike Lions Club, and the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, and spending time with family. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha A.(Leslie) Myers; sons Dennis L. (Linda K.) Myers and Larry R. (Linda S.) Myers;daughters Carol A. (Frank) Drumwright and Susan J. Brown; and 6 grandchildrenand 5 great grandchildren. Sam will bemissed, but will live on in our hearts forever.
