Sally Lee Carvin

Sally Lee (Cramer) Carvin was born in Franklin, Indiana on July 22, 1954 to Bill and June Cramer. She was joined in marriage to Charles Russell “Chuck” Carvin on June 16, 1984. Sally lived her childhood west of Bargersville, Indiana on the family farm. She was the second of six children having 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Upon her marriage to Chuck they moved to Decatur Township on the southwest side of Indianapolis, IN. Sally’s education was important to her, but simple. She attended Union Elementary in Union Township, Johnson County, Indiana she then moved on to Franklin Community Junior High and then to Franklin Community High School where she graduated in 1972. She went on to work in several different types of jobs including, Office Work, Retail, Childcare, and Clerk at the Indianapolis Marion County Library System. She retired from the library in 2010 due to medical reasons. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN . She is survived by her husband, Chuck, stepdaughter, Ami, son-in-law, Dusty, grandchildren, Cody, Kylie, Casie, Kourtney, parents, Bill and June Cramer, sisters, Susie (Howard) Friend, Sara (Jim) Dickinson, brothers Steve (Bonnie), Stan, Sam (Penny) Cramer and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1PM Monday April 4, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center- Decatur Township 5463 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis, IN with visitation there on Sunday April 3rd 4-8 PM and Monday from 11 AM until the service. Memorial gifts may be directed to Aldersgate United Methodist Church or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. You are invited to go to the Guest Book page to pass along your personal message or tell a story.
