Sally Marie Chris, 82 years old, 3 days shy of her 83^rd birthday. Passed away September 6, 2023. Sally resided at Sugar Grove senior living in Plainfield, IN. for the past 5 years. Sally was employed by IPS school 109 and Plainfield Community School system as a cafeteria worker. Sally was also employed at Gulf Insurance.

Sally enjoyed cooking and having family gathering for every holiday possible. She loved her family dearly. She was born September 9, 1940, to Herman and Martha Rhude. Raised by Fred and Oma (Nanny) Ballard. She was married to the late Nicholas Chris Jr. for 58 years. She is survived by her Children, Nicholas (Vicki) Chris 3^rd of Paragon, IN, Mark (Angi) Chris of Indianapolis, IN, Bryon Chris of Indianapolis, IN; Grandchildren Zachary Chris, Andrew Chris, Ashley Janney, Chelsey Davis, Emmalee Chris, William Kukman, Jessica Chris, Kelly Chris Jr and Ashley Thompson and 10 great grandchildren. Sally had 12 brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by Nicholas Chris Jr, Kelly Chris Sr, Jeremy Chris and Derrick Janney. Handling of service by, Fanner Buchanan Floral Park 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 4:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service Friday September 15, 2023, at 10:00am.
