Sally A. Runde

Sally A. Runde, 73, Carmel, passed away on May 25, 2016. She was born September 2, 1942, in Fairmont, WV, the daughter of the late Walter A. and Ann (Morris) Hupp. She married Kurt F. Runde, who preceded her in passing September 27, 2015, after 55 years of marriage.

Sally was an account executive with Walker Research for many years. And was a devoted and selfless caregiver for her husband, Kurt as he battled Alzheimer’s and years prior for her mother, Ann. Sally will be greatly missed and forever loved by her friends and family. She always saw the best in each of us and was our constant well of encouragement and support. In the end, it wasn’t just that we loved her, it’s that she loved us.

Sally is survived by her three children, Barbara A. (husband, Ed Zepernick) Runde, Jeffrey K. (wife, Marcia) Runde and Laura K. (husband, Jason) Moore; grandchildren, Cale, Holly, Claire, Dylan and Lucy; niece, Jenny Hupp and her daughter Isabella Bryant; cousin, Nancy (partner, Diane Dubus) Fisher; father-in-law, Oliver F. Runde; and sisters-in-law, Deborah A. (husband, Peter) Meszaros and Kathryn L. Franz. She was preceded in passing by her sister, Linda Hupp.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
