Sallie Marie Wagner

Sallie Marie Wagner, 82, passed away January 20, 2015. She was born July 28, 1932, in Long Island, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Marguerite (Dolan) Furey. She married Fred Wagner on July 26, 1980, in Arlington, VA. Sallie was a devout Catholic, attending Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. She enjoyed cross-stitch, reading, crossword puzzles, travelling, and meeting the neighborhood ladies for coffee. She also enjoyed playing bridge and earned the title of Silver Life Master, but her greatest passion was spending time with her family, especially her 2 youngest grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Wagner; six children, Edward B. (Lynne Vernon) Denham, Kevin Charles Denham, Barry K. (Colleen) Denham, Michael Joseph (Sharon Reppard) Denham, Michele E. (Karl) Martel, Maureen Therese (Donald) DeBone; step-daughter, Debi (Jim) Paladino; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by a sister, Sister Jean Edward and two step-sons, Fredrick Raymond Wagner and William Brian Wagner. A celebratory Funeral Mass will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 14598 Oakridge Road. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel, 325 East Carmel Drive.
