Ruth Roe

Ruth P. Roe, 94, of Indianapolis, died September 30, 2010. Ruth was born May 30, 1916 in Oaktown, IN to the late John and Harriet King. She was an Administrative Assistant in the Civil Service for many years prior to her retirement. Survivors include her daughter, Sheila (Steve) Hyatt; grandchildren, Stephanie (Dow) Dellinger, Stuart (Ann-Marie) Hyatt, Sarah (David) Eli, and Suzanna (Manuel) Fernandez; great-grandchildren, Lewis and Leo Dellinger, Oscar and Beatrice Hyatt, Julian Eli, and Mia Fernandez; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, seven sisters, and her loving husband of 66 years, Arnett Roe. Visitation will be 1p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, October 3 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center – Broad Ripple. Private Graveside Services will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Ruth’s family expresses deep appreciation to Eva Reeves for her loving care.
