Ruth Mateer

Ruth Elinor Brooks Mateer 93, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2015 at St. Vincent's Hospice. Ruth was born in St. Paul, IN the last of 8 children of John and Martha Ross Brooks. She is survived by a daughter, Betsy R. Bullis (Russ); two grandchildren: Sara Beth Engman (Herb) of Indianapolis and Scott R. Bullis of Aztec, NM; and three great-grandchildren: Jadon and Rya Clark and Reina Engman. Ruth was a member of Bellaire United Methodist Church and most recently, Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She was active in the United Methodist Women and the Shepherd's Center. She was retired from Wright Oil Co. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 2pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Broad Ripple with visitation prior to the service from 12 Noon. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
