Ruth Ellen Boone

Ruth Ellen Boone of Carmel, IN passed away Friday, November 14th, 2014. Ruth was born in Paoli, IN on July 24th, 1931 to her parents, Suzanne and Robert D. Williams. She was 83 years old. Ruth was a beautician and beauty school instructor for over 40 years and was well known and admired within the beauty education community. She retired from Honors Beauty College in 2011 to care for her husband of 58 years, Bob D. Boone, who preceded her. She was a committed Christian, wife, and mother to her family. She served in several roles within her church, North Central Church of Christ. Ruth was also a member of the Carmel Town Council in the 1980s. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, November 20 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, where friends and family are invited to gather from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 19. Ruth is survived by her sons, Michael and Christopher (and wife Nancy) Boone; grandchildren, Stephen R. and Austin M. Boone, Hannah E, Leah G, and Shelby R. Boone.
