Ruth E. Schofield

Ruth E. Schofield, 79 of Indianapolis passed away on May 4, 2015. She was born May 16, 1935 in Indianapolis to Ralph and Helen Copeland, who precede her in death. Ruth attended Technical Arsenal High School and retired from MSD Warren Township Schools where she worked in Food Service for many years. She was very devoted to her family and loved animals. Surviving to cherish her memories are her children, Charles Ray (Linda Batterman) Schofield, Michael T. (Kelly) Schofield and Valerie (Mike) Roberts, grandchildren, Jordan Schofield, Lerin Schofield, Robert Ray Schofield and Jennifer Roberts, and great-grandchildren, Alex Schofield and Sage Schofield. Friends may visit with Ruth's family from 5-8 PM Friday at Flanner and Buchanan - Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. The Celebration of Ruth's life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, also at Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
