Ruth Ann Wirey Hancock

H Ruth Ann Wirey Hancock Ruth was born in Jamestown, Indiana on June 11, 1931. She passed away on June 7, 2012 in Avon, Indiana. Ruth had worked at Mitchel and Scott Inc. for 10 years as an inspector. She is survived by brothers, Jim Trammel of Kentucky and David Trammel of Indiana. Ruth was married to Charles Robert Wirey for 28 years. Charles passed away on March 16, 2009 and was survived by seven children: sons, Robert Wirey, Charles Wirey and Carl Wirey, daughters, Lou Ann Gibson, Sharon Ford, Julie Golliver and Grace Jones, 22 grandchildren and 28 great grandchilcren. Ruth's second marriage was to Earl "Red" Hancock for 18 years. Earl passed away in 1994. Ruth had two step children, Scott Hancock and Diane Wessel, three step grandchildren and one great step grandchild. We will all miss her greatly. Visitation will be Monday, June 11, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park from 4 to 8pm. Services will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 11 am at the funeral center.
