Ruth A. Galyean

Ruth A. Galyean-Osterling 76, of Indianapolis, passed away April 5, 2013. Ruth was born March 8, 1937 in Terre Haute, IN, daughter of Ernest and Juanita (Hoare) Gemmecke. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband David J. Galyean and her husband Rick Osterling and 1 brother, Bob Gemmecke. Ruth was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School and retired from Altenheim Senior Community in Beech Grove. Ruth is survived by her children, David Galyean (Cyndi) of Southport, IN, Stephanie Cronley (Michael) of Indianapolis and Donald Galyean (Rebecca) of North Vernon, IN; grandchildren, David M Galyean, Dale R. Galyean, Britney Lampner, Tiffany L. Hatfield, Donald J. Galyean II, and Gregory M. Galyean; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Mya, A'Leeya, Deliah, Jayden, Aven, Eden, Joy and Madyson; her sister in law, Jane Gemmecke of Battleground, IN; by her dear friends, Bill and Carol Ash and their children, Billy and Paula. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 4-8PM. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
