Ruth A. Clinton Gasaway

Ruth A. Clinton Gasaway Age 98 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011.Ruth was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. Ruth was a long distance telephone operator for Indiana Bell for 25 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church, Telephone Pioneers, 50 year member of Prospect Order of the Eastern Star #452. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and traveling with her family to different areas. Ruth was preceded in death by her son-in-law Graham Nell, great grandson, Robby Woods. Ruth is survived by her children, Adrienne Nell, Marcia (Walter) Reed, and Richard (Linda) Gasaway, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Flanner and Buchanan –Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11 am at Old Bethel United Methodist Church, 7995 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219 with visitation 1 hour prior to service.
