RUSSELL J. STROPES, 89, Indianapolis, died Oct 20. He worked for Vonnegut Hardware 28 years, retiring In 1981. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. Mr. Stropes was a member of Broad Ripple Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite.
