Rush Addair Addair, Sr.

Rush, 81, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2016. He was born March 4, 1935 in McDowell County, West Virginia to Mont and Carlie Stacey Addair.

Rush married the love of his life Lois and started a family. He worked for over 31 ½ years for General Motors, where he was known as "Virginia". He enjoyed gardening but will be most remembered for his great skill as a grand master checker pool player.

Rush is survived by his children Theresa Addair Hibbert, Rusty Addair (Debbie), and Annie Addair Julian (Rick); seven grandchildren Travis Addair, Lil Ray Hibbert, Nathan Hibbert, Anthony Hibbert, Adam Hibbert, Nicole Julian, and Jessica Julian; 5 great-grandchildren Emily Addair, Hannah Addair, Mylah Wheeler, Annabel Wheeler, and Connor Mills; and brother Leonard Addair (Phyllis).

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lois Addair and siblings Testie Addair, Hassel Addair, Hallie Addair, JC Addair, Venice Addair, and Ted Addair.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 19 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Decatur, 5463 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 20 at the funeral home with burial following at West Newton Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend a meal following the service Tuesday at Shelby St. Pentecostal Lighthouse – 8620 Shelby St, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
