Ruby M. Lynette Mcclintock

Ruby Mary McClintock 79, of Brownsburg, passed away, January 14, 2011. Ruby was born on October 3, 1931 in Woodman, WI. She was the 8th of 10 children born to James and Lelia Lynette. In 1944 the family moved from Madison, WI to Indianapolis where she attended Holy Cross Catholic School and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1949. She enjoyed singing, dancing and being with family and friends. As a teenager, Ruby sang on WIBC after school. She was a member of St. Christopher Church. She is survived by her children Kathy (James) Dean, Connie Shillings and Norman McClintock II, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, sisters Helena Crecelius and Geneva Browning and brothers Virgil (Delores) and Patrick (Nancy) Lynette and sister-in-law Ernie Lynette. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11 am with calling one hour prior in the chapel at West Ridge Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Lung Association or St. Vincent DePaul Society. Arrangements handled by Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway.
