Ruby L. Marling

71, of Pendleton, IN, passed away on March 3, 2016. Ruby was a retired registered nurse, having worked at Welborn Hospital, Evansville, IN. She was also an owner of Marling Tree Farm, Oakland City, IN. She was a graduate of Harry E. Wood High School and Marion County General Hospital School of Nursing. She is survived by her spouse, Steve Marling; children, Cara (John) Taylor, Mark (Christine) Thacker and Janelle (Brad) Kiefer; brothers, Bob and Wayne Thomerson; sister, Vera Davis and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite). In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Cancer Society.
