Roy Lee Patterson

Roy Lee Patterson 94 of Brownsburg, Indiana went to his heavenly home on December 31, 2023.  He was born on August 4, 1929, in Springfield, Ohio to the late Roy Andrew and Hazel (Burge) Patterson.  Roy retired from Allison’s as a Machine Repairman after 35 ½ years in 1985.  He proudly served in the U S Marine Corps Reserve. Roy was an active member for many years of the Ben Davis Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He is survived by his children, Linda (John) Judd, David (Mary) Patterson, his grandchildren, Aaron Berryman, Abbie (Kevin) Tolliver, Mandy (David) Nyddegger, Shannon (Brad) Passwater, and his great grandchildren, Lucy, Katie, Grace, Bryson, and Keaton.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Reulah Mae Patterson.  Visitation for Roy will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 1:00pm-3:00 at Ben Davis Christian Church 701 South High School Road Indianapolis, Indiana with the funeral service to follow there at 3:00pm.  Pastor Jerry Williams will officiate the funeral service.  Roy will be laid to rest in a private service at West Ridge Park Cemetery following the funeral service.  In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Ben Davis Christian Church Rize Kids.
