Roy Clement Yates, Jr.

Roy Clement Yates, Jr., 65, Fishers, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2020. He was born in Detroit, MI to Roy Clement Yates, Sr. and Mary Lou Forbes Yates.
He graduated from North Central High School in 1973 and received a B.S. in accounting from IUPUI in 1979. Upon graduation he worked for Van Ausdall and Farrar as an account executive, winning Rookie of the Year in 1981. In 1986 he founded and was president of Automated Business Solutions, receiving the distinction of New Distributor of the Year.
He retired in 2015 and enjoyed traveling abroad and RVing throughout the United States. He was a member of 5th Church of Christ, Scientist, where he was currently serving as chairman of the board.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy C. Yates, Sr.
Survivors include his mother Mary Lou Yates, his wife of 39 years, Julie Kane Yates, daughters Caroline Pankoff (Adam), Jennifer Yates, Allison Yates, his granddaughter Piper Pankoff, and his siblings, Bruce Raich (Betsy), Robin Yates, Russell Yates (Elise), and Robert Yates (Anna).
