Rosemary Hussey Burkhardt

Rosemary (Hussey) Burkhardt, 89, of McHenry, Illinois, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014. She was born on April 4, 1924 in Bridgeport, IN. Rosemary was a member of Speedway Christian Church and was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Newman (Jim Ellis) of California and Nancy (Steve) LeCount of Illinois; grandsons, Scott Newman, Doug and Matt LeCount; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, John F. Burkhardt, Jr. Funeral services for Mrs. Burkhardt will be held at Flanner and Buchanan - Speedway on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 12pm, with visitation 2 hours prior to the services, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in West Ridge Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
