Rosemary S. Harlan

95, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Marquette Manor. Born on November 1, 1920 in Atchison, Kansas, she married her beloved husband, Fred, in 1944, raising two sons together. They were a formidable team, charming all they met with humor, wit and lively conversation.
After Fred’s passing in 2003, Rosemary maintained a busy social schedule upon arriving at Marquette Manor. Her sharp wit and observation was present until her final days.
She is predeceased by her aforementioned husband and her son, Christopher K. Harlan. Survivors include her son, J. Michael Harlan; five grandchildren, Abigail Harlan Perez (Guido Perez), Mandy (Harlan) Haskett (Will Haskett), Mark Harlan, Katie (Harlan) Kochounian (Garo Kochounian) and Carrie Harlan; and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Gwen Haskett.
Private family services will be held. Those wishing to pass along condolences can do so via Flanner and Buchanan – Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, where Rosemary and Fred will be together forever.
