Rose Marie Mcgarr

Rose Marie McGarr 80, of Greenwood, died August 9, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Raised in New York, Rose worked as a Clothing Illustrator in the Fashion Industry. But she was most proud of her years after her move to Indianapolis where she met the love of her life, David John McGarr and started a family. Rose is survived by her loving children Genevieve (Shermie) Price, Bonnie McGarr (Michael) Lesser, and Paul (Martha), McGarr; grandchildren J.C. and Allen Cline, Rachel Price, Jamie and Max Lesser, Chelsea and Cameron McGarr; as well as her beloved cat Alex. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband David John McGarr, her infant son Tyrone David McGarr and her granddaughter Heather McGarr. Friends may call from 11 am-3 pm on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St, Indianapolis with a service beginning at 3 PM. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 North Michigan Road Indianapolis, IN 46268.
