Rose Anna Powell of Indianapolis passed away on February 14, 2022 at the age of 89.
She was born November 5, 1932 in Owen County, IN to the late Chesley E. and Stella B. Summers.
She was member of the Lawrence Chapter Eastern Star and Fall Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Diane (Tom) Rux; daughter-in-law Mary Jo Powell; grandchildren Stacy (Joseph) Litka, Kerry (Jordan Pasqualin) Powell, Katy (Lenard Llaguno) Powell, Lindsey Powell and Joshua Phillips; great grandchildren Joseph, Daniel, James, and Evelyn Litka; Kai Pasqualin; and Adeline and Sophie Llaguno; and brother Roy Summers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herman Powell; son David Powell; siblings John Summers, Warren Summers, Harry Summers, Ruth Fowler, Helen Adams, and Virginia Summers; and sister-in-law Fredia Summers.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 18 from 9 to 11 AM in Flanner Buchanan – Geist, 7855 Cork Road, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will begin at 11 AM. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM in Chambersville Cemetery, Spencer, IN.
Donations may be made in her name to Fall Creek Baptist Church, 8901 Fall Creek Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46256.
