Rosalie Ann Parnell

July 9, 1942 — June 4, 2012

Rosalie Ann Boles Parnell A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt went peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, June 4th, surrounded by her family. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on July 9th, 1942 to Walter E. Boles and Mildred Crawhorn Boles. Rosalie grew up in Beech Grove and attended Beech Grove High School where she met many of her lifelong friends. She served as a waitress and spent 12 years in retail at Lazarus. Her main focus and full-time job, was raising an amazing family of six kids, a step daughter, six grandchildren and a great grandchild. Rosalie lived her life for the Lord attending church every Sunday and Wednesday at Aldersgate Free Methodist Church. She loved fashion, shopping and finding great deals. If there was a coupon for anything, she had it! She was an artist, attended Herron Art School and spent considerable time painting early in life. She loved spending evenings watching TV and movies with her son, Ric. Going to the movies with her husband Larry was a Tuesday ritual with the strict rule of nothing "R-rated". She loved the sun, the ocean and going to Florida with her family on vacation. Most of all, she loved being a witness of her faith. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Larry E. Parnell, daughter, Andrea Hausz (Chris), sons, Billy Arnold, Tim Arnold, Dave Arnold (Alyse), Ric White, Brian White (Emily), step daughter, Melissa Keeland (Kleat), grandchildren, Joshua Rush (Missy), Steven Arnold, Chelsea and Madison Keeland, Gavin and Jada Hausz, great grandchildren, Cora Rush, sister-in-law, Jane White, brother-in-law Jim Gibson, nieces and nephews, Jonathan Gibson, Jennifer Hynek (Steven), Sarah Bunner, and Robert Bunner. Rosalie was proceeded in death by her mother, father, and older brother Jim Boles.
