Rosaleen B. Rhoden

Nov 27, 1943 — Oct 1, 2026

Rosaleen B Rhoden was born on November 27, 1943 to Hetti Mae and Raymond Bolin in Martinsville, IN. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend devoted her life to loving and caring for others. She was a nurturing soul who gave selflessly to her three children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and so many others. She never expected or accepted compensation for the care she provided, giving freely from her heart because that was simply who she was.

Her love and devotion extended to her beloved husband of 61 years, Travis Rhoden, whom she cared for with the same tenderness, faithfulness, and unconditional love that she shared with her entire family. Their life together was a testament to enduring love, commitment, and devotion.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She taught Sunday School for many years, served on the Church Board of Directors, and instilled a deep love for Jesus in her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched. Through her words, her actions, and her example, she taught others the meaning of faith, compassion, generosity, and unconditional love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved siblings: Raymond (Sonny), Helen, Paul, Ruby, Frank, Betty, Roy (Rusty), Virginia Sue, Daniel (Danny), and Freddie.

She is survived by her loving husband, Travis Rhoden, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage; her children, Travis Rhoden Jr. (Amy), Tina Rhoden-Lewellyn, and Tanya Jackson (Jeff); her grandchildren, Travis Michael Rhoden, Zachary Rhoden (Alicia), Myles Lewellyn, Logan Watson (Ryan), Taylor Watts (Todd), Bailey Ramseyer, Levi Jackson (Amanda), Dalton Jackson, Kassi Jackson, Chelsea Cassidy (Jackson), Jilliyann Tresslar, Kerrigan Tresslar; and her great-grandchildren, Aria, Amelia, Atticus, Alexander, Lucas, Nathaniel and Gracelynn. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Mary and Martha, as well as countless nieces and nephews.

Her legacy is one of selfless service, unwavering faith, and a love that knew no limits. Though our hearts grieve her passing, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will continue through the generations she nurtured, the faith she planted in our hearts, and the countless lives she touched. Her hands may now be at rest, but the love she poured into this world will never fade.
