Ronnie left this world leaving behind wife Louise "Sue" Fields of 51 years of marriage, daughter Karen Mendenhall, grandson Thomas J. Mendenhall, brothers Charles M. Fields, Carlos G. Fields, and Darrell J. Fields . He was proceeded in life by his father Farmer Fields and mother Claudia M. Fields and two brothers David Fields and Rickie Fields. He was born in Kentucky and live and raised his family in Indiana he worked many years at Richardson Rubber Company and then at Cross Road Dairy .

At 12:12 on a rain filled day in April, ends the long hard fight of a very great man Ronnie Fields. He battled illness and spent many great days with us, till he decided it was his time to finally rest in peace. He was a man who loved music, art, automobiles, and above all life. He lived a life that many could only hope too, touching countless people’s lives. We meet here today to come together as a family and friends, to remember the amazing life he lived. Although he could have grew to 150 years old, and we would have still cherished our time with him. As he goes onto a eternal life his time with us here will echo on for eternity in our hearts. Thank you everyone that has decided to be here with us today, we love you all just as Ronnie himself did.
