Ronnie Joe Buchanan

Ronnie Joe Buchanan, 73, Indianapolis passed away June 20, 2015. He was born in Indianapolis to the late James and Maryrue (Dodson) Buchanan. Ronnie had worked as a Conductor with Conrail. He served honorably as a Corporal in the U.S. Army 101st Air Bourne during Vietnam era. Ronnie was a member of Masonic Lodge-Millersville He enjoyed Indy Car, NASCAR, hunting and being with family and friends. Ronnie is survived by a daughter, Becky; grandson, Kevin Buchanan; sisters, Regenia Carpenter and Diane (Richard) Holtgrave; brother, James "Crow" (Terri) Buchanan; sister-in-law, Ruthann Buchanan and nephew, Jimmy Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mike. Visitation will be 4 until 8 pm Friday, June 26, 2015 with services 1 pm Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Rd. Burial will follow in Floral Park Cemetery.
