Ronald R Wenstrom

September 27, 1937 — February 23, 2024

Ronald R. Wenstrom, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away February 23rd, 2024. He was born September 27th, 1937, in Chicago, to parents Raymond and Grace Wenstrom.

Ronald worked as a general contractor for many years, and later as a home inspector, before retiring. On March 19th, 1960, Ronald married the love of his life, Donna. They have shared just shy of 64 years together. Ronald was a valued member of the Moose Lodge #540 for 41 years.

Ronald was a strong, kindhearted gentleman. He had a passion for antique cars, frequently attending car shows and working on cars of his own. He enjoyed entertaining and hosting guests with Donna. Ronald had a huge heart for animals and loved many pets throughout his life.

He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, dog-dad, and friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Donna; his son Shawn (Christina) Wenstrom; brother Fred Wenstrom; nieces Terri and Cassady; and faithful canine Lexi.

He is preceded in death by parents.

The family is very grateful to Carol, for all the care and kindness you gave.

Ronalds’s celebration of life will be Tuesday March 5th, from 1pm-3pm, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East. He will be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery.
