Ronald W. O'Hern

Ronald W. O’Hern passed away in Indianapolis on August 12, 2022.

He was born in Indianapolis on November 22, 1942, to his parents Harold James and Dorothy Marie O’Hern. He married his high school sweetheart, Joan, and they had 2 beautiful children together. They were married until her passing in 2002. A few years later, he married Janice, and she stepped into the O’Hern family as a stepmother to his children and grandmother to the grandchildren until her passing as well.

He worked at G&G Metal as a metal spinner and retired in 2006. He enjoyed fishing and coin collecting in his spare time.

Ronald is survived by his children; Christopher (Samantha) O’Hern, James O’Hern, his sister; Sue King, and his grandchildren; Austin Day, Dallas O’Hern, and Olivia (Braden) Murray.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, and his two loving wives.

Ronald will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
