It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Turner, 78, of Indianapolis on December 19, 2025. Ronald was born February 22, 1947 to Joseph Harlan Turner and Emma Katherine "Kay" Turner (Lawrence).
A true patriot, Ronald enlisted in the Army and served dutifully in the Vietnam War. Upon his honorable discharge, Ronald found work as a welder for Amtrak. He would retire from the company.
Ronald was a man of many interests, but his biggest passions were playing competitive pool, going to concerts as an avid music lover, and vehicles. He was a super fan of cars and motorcycles; Ronald was the proudest of his prized Special Edition Gold Camero, gifted to him by his parents in high school.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father and his son Aaron Thomas Turner.
Ronald is survived by his mother; his sons Michael Todd Turner (Jennifer), and Brian Joseph Turner; siblings Tim Turner (Lori), and Rhonda Hail; grandchildren Lily, Katie, and Royal.
Ronald's services will be private. Please keep his family in your prayers at this time.
