61 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on June 21, 2026. Ronald was born on August 16, 1964, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Inell and Adelaide Thornton. He was a retired Bus Driver for M.V. Transports. He was preceded in death by his brothers Vincent and Ronado Thornton, stepson Michael Lawrence and his parents. He is survived by his wife Monica Thornton, children Renato Thornton, Ronald Thornton, Kristopher Thornton and Jalen Thornton, stepchildren Prentice Bledsoe, Thomas Adair, Tay Bledsoe and Monica Jones, sister Lily (James) Brown, brothers Kenneth (Maria) Thornton and Marlon (Dionne) Smith, seven grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Memorial service will be Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park.
