Ronald Shoppelle

Ronald Shoppelle 64, of Indianapolis, was called to Heaven on April 14, 2013. He was born December 25, 1947 in Rushville, IN. Son of Herbert and Margaret (Macklan) Shoppelle. He graduated from Milroy High School in 1966 and Southern Ohio Junior College in 1970, and worked for US Foods as an Inventory Control Supervisor. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, IU sports and the Colts. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ron is survived by his wife, Judy (Johnson) Shoppelle; his daughter, Michelle Archer (Mike) of McCordsville; grandson, Kaiden Archer; brother, Steve Shoppelle (Joy) of Rushville; niece and nephew, Becca and Sam as well as his cousins and several other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Bailey. A Celebration of his life will be held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46229. Memorial contributions may be sent in Ron's name in lieu of flowers to the Humane Society for Hamilton County or the Indianpolis Humane Society.
