Ronald R. Scotten

Ronald R. Scotten 79, of Indianapolis, passed away, Monday, April 25, 2011. He retired from Detroit Diesel Allison after 34 years there. He was an Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 500. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence and Eugene Scotten. He is survived by his wife Carol Scotten, children; Barbara (John) Rutledge, Martha Scotten and Edney Scotten, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, sister Bernice Sarfaty, sister-in-law Wilma Jean Scotten, one niece and seven nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 4 to 8 pm at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway Funeral Center. Services will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 10 am at the funeral center. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice.
