Ronald P. Mcatee

Ronald P. McAtee, 90 of Carmel, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, August 19, 2023.  Ron was born January 27, 1933 in Indianapolis to the late Paul and Helen McAtee.  He was a graduate of Shortridge High School.  Ron served in the US Air Force.

After discharge from the Air Force, Ron worked for Stokely VanCamp for a few years before joining Ready Mix Concrete (now Irving Materials, Inc.) where he worked for 25 years.  He retired after 20 years from Modified Concrete.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 9:30am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 23 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am.

Ron was the widow of Jane C. McAtee.  He is survived by his son, Kevin R. (wife, Bonnie) McAtee; grandson, Aaron R. McAtee; sister, Patricia Rodenbeck.
