Ronald Mitchell

Ronald Dean Mitchell, 83, of Indianapolis passed away on June 2, 2024. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 4, 1940, to his parents, Charles and Pansey Mitchell. Ronald worked for Koch Newspaper for 25 years and then Indianapolis Periodical Distribution for 12 years. Ronald enjoyed the simple things in life. He was an avid lover of his western shows and old country music. Ronald married the love of his life, Judith D. Mitchell, on August 4, 1962. Together they spent 48 years creating wonderful memories until Judith’s passing in 2010. His memory will live on through his son, Ronald L. Mitchell; his granddaughter, Theresa D. Mitchell; and his sister, Judith A. Ryan.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judith D. Mitchell; and his brother, Robert L. Mitchell.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 2PM-4PM at Flanner Buchanan—Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St. Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 4PM.
