Ronald Lee Steele, Jr., 54, Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. He was born on December 12, 1959 to Ronald and Oda Jean Steele. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Oda Jean Steele Tipton; brothers, Randy Steele, Tommy Steele (Melissa), and Travis Steele, Sr.; his sister, Teresa (Steele) McCaslin (Tim); his son, Ronald Steven Lee Steele; his daughter, Kendra Danielle Clark; his granddaughter, Analia Larynn Ardizzone; seven nephews and 10 nieces; and an abundance of extended family members and close friends. Ronnie was an avid bowler who began bowling in parent/child leagues when he was six years old. At the age of 22, he held the city record high series of 845. At the age of 24, he was the Central Indiana Bowling Proprietors Association bowler of the year. In his free time, he liked to tinker with and ride his motorcycle. Ronnie was the productions manager at Flying W Awards for 22 years. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 19 from 3-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life service will be on Monday, October 20 at 5 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Memorial Park, with additional visitation from 2-5 PM.
