Ronald L. Callahan, 84 of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away February 3, 2022. He was born December 18, 1937, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William Bruce and Ethel L. (Shortridge) Callahan. Ronald was a Firefighter for the Indianapolis Fire Department from 1964 until 1996 when he retired. He proudly served his country in the U S Navy. Ronald enjoyed gardening especially growing roses and took great pride in them. He was a faithful member of the Springhill Christian Center in Mooresville, Indiana and while still living in Indiana enjoyed his friends at the Senior Center, playing cards and fellowshipping with them. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many. Ronald is survived by his children, Eric J. Callahan and his wife Andrea, Kelli R. Roche and her husband Ed, grandchildren, Mikayla Roche, Christian Roche, Meghan (Jordan) Brewer, Kelsey Callahan, Brenna Callahan, Whitney (Bobby) Korniak, Rylee Daugherty, great grandchildren, Paisleigh Brewer, and Adalyn Brewer, Octavia and Jaxton. Besides his parents Ronald is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sarah A. (Haller) Callahan, his brother, Richard Callahan and his sister, Hazel Griswold. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the Springhill Christian Center 12150 N. Rooker Road, Mooresville, Indiana with visitation there from 11:00am until the service at 1:00pm. Entombment will follow the service at Floral Park Cemetery.
