Ronald Kortz

Ronald Lee (Rambo) Kortz, 64, Indianapolis, passed away December 23, 2013. Ron was born March 30, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland to Annie Virginia (Shifflett) Hackley. Ron is survived by his loving wife Audrey Ann Smith Kortz, and children Ronald L. Kortz II, Brandy Sativa (Kortz) Huffman (Tim), April D. Kortz-Ashlock (Julie), Michael L. Kortz (Vicki) , Joshua T. Kortz, and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Benjamin Kortz & Brother Ben Kortz. He is survived by 8 brothers and sisters. Ron served in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1969-1972 and was a Disabled Veteran. Ron retired from the US Postal Service in 2009. His passions in life were his wife, kids and Harley Davidson's motorcycles. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park North from 2-4pm, with a memorial service at 4pm.
