Ronald G. Wiseley

Ronald G. Wiseley, 77 of Indianapolis, was called to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Ron was born February 11, 1939 in Logansport, IN to the late Raymond and M. Maxine Wiseley. Ron was a graduate of Indiana University receiving both his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees.

Ron was a retired dealer trade driver for various auto dealerships. He began his career as a teacher in Marion, Warsaw and Versailles. He later worked for the Indiana State Department of Education to develop adult education courses. Ron also volunteered as a Christian counselor at the Indiana Boys School.

Ron took an active leadership role at Carmel Central Christian Church where he was a member, elder, deacon and Sunday school superintendent. He was also an active bowler and was a member of the American Bowling Congress and would tell a bad joke to anyone who would listen.

Open visitation will be 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, June 12 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel, with a memorial service following at 4pm.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia; children, Rick J. Wiseley, Jarrod L. (wife, Tina) Wiseley and Rena R. (husband, David) Duerksen; grandchildren, Brandon and Natalie Duerksen and Joshua Wiseley; brother, Jack (wife, Alice) Wiseley; nephew; Christopher J. Wiseley; niece, Stephanie Ruszkowski; grandniece, Emerson Ruszkowski; grandnephew, Chase Wiseley.

Memorial contributions may be made to Carmel Central Christian Church Building Fund.
