Ronald D. 'Ron' Rushton

Ronald D. "Ron" Rushton, age 75, of Indianapolis, passed away December 27, 2013. He was born June 20, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Gerald and Marie Rushton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Frank Rushton. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sandy (Hayes) Rushton, children, Ronda(Tony) Freije and Doug Rushton; grandchildren, Alyssa, Lindsay, Ryan, and Naomi; sister-in-law, Donna Rushton. Ron was retired from Ford Motor Company with over 35 years of service. He was an active member of Bethany Christian Church. Ron enjoyed traveling, camping, cruises, puzzles, and loved spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street.
