Ronald Bruce Turk, 77 of Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 21, 2021. He was born on November 10, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late Charles Russell and Louise Christina Turk. Ron was a family man above all else; doing anything he could to support those he loved and who loved him in return. Through any hardship he faced, Ron carried himself with dignity and strength. After serving his country in the United States Army, Ron proudly worked for Allison Transmission for 37 years. He was an avid golfer and loved to bowl. He adamantly followed his favorite sports teams: IU, the Colts, Notre Dame, and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Ron is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Turk; children, Kimberly (Chris) Wittmann, Kelly Hedrick, and David (Brenda) Turk; grandchildren, Vincent (Emily) Foley, Hannah (Kole) Demalon, Allan Wittmann, Brooke Wittmann, Cole Hedrick, Ethan Hedrick, Ella Hedrick, Justin Turk, and Dylan Turk; and great granddaughter, Emerson Demalon. He is preceded in passing by his parents; brother, Charles Edward Turk; and his beloved canine companion, Gussie.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 3, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229), where a celebration of life service will begin at 1:00 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
