Ronald Warren Norcutt 66, of Avon, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013. He was born on February 21, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN to Ralph and Alma (Fitch) Norcutt. Ron was a graduate of Avon High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Field Service Representative for Cummins Mid-States Power from 1968 until his retirement in 2004. Ron also had many interests outside of work, including his membership with the Brownsburg Masonic Lodge 241, AGLCA and U.S. Power Squadron. He taught boating safety courses through the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He also loved spending time on his own boat, "The Driftwood". Ron is survived by his wife of 42 years, Teana (Newman) Norcutt; daughter, Laura (Norcutt) Drummond; and son-in-law, Dan Drummond. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Mr. Norcutt will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 12noon at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4 until 8pm, also at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will take place in Floral Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given the American Cancer Society.
