Ron L. Hartman

Ronald L. Hartman, 78, Carmel, passed away September 14, 2015. He was born August 6, 1937, in Richmond, the son of the late Theodore and Zella (Lamb) Hartman. Ron graduated in 1955 from Richmond High School. He attended Butler University before serving in the United States Army. He was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church. He was an active volunteer with Carmel youth sports in the 1970's. He was the prominent owner of Commercial Flooring Store, Inc. in the Indianapolis area. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Hartman; two sons, Michael Lee Hartman and Jeffrey Allen Hartman; and three grandchildren, Alex, Jenna, and Jacob Hartman. Services will be 12 noon Tuesday September 29, 2015, at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 2201 East 106th Street. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements and cremation were entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel.
