Ron E. Reynolds, 82, Indianapolis, passed away October 29, 2013. He was born February 27, 1931 in Mars, Pennsylvania, the son of H. B. and Dorothy (Heplar) Reynolds. Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had owned a carpet cleaning service and was a former state inspector of barber shops and beauty salons. He was a member of the Indianapolis Lodge #669 F. & A.M., the Murat Shrine, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. Ron was a member of the International Association of Jim Beam Bottle & Specialty Clubs. He is the last member to attend all 43 consecutive bottle conventions. Ron was preceded in death by his son, Rick Braden. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen D. Reynolds; his son, Mark E. Reynolds, Sr. (Linda); his daughter, Robin Ducy; his grandchildren, Mark E. Reynolds, Jr., Dawna M. Reynolds, and Ronald J. Reynolds; his great-grandchildren, Alexis, Cole, and Jameson; and his sister, Elsie Malone. Funeral services, along with Masonic services, will be on Sunday, November 3 at 6 PM at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park East, with visitation from 3 PM until service time.
