Roland E. Sauerheber, 87 of Indianapolis was born October 10, 1927 and died on January 3, 2015. He was born in Corydon, Indiana to Clyde and Mildred Sauerheber. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion, the Blue Lodge, Scottish Rite and the Murat Temple. He enjoyed playing cards and fixing things. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Keith, James and John, his sister, Delia Jane and his grandson, Jeremy Furgason. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Beverly, his daughters, Jeanette (Larry) Childress, Judy Furgason, and Jennifer (Gary) Roessler, grandsons, Justin Furgason and Joel Furgason and great-grandsons, Nolan, Camden and Ethan Furgason. Friends may call from 5-8 PM Thursday, January 8, 2015 with a Masonic Service being held at 7:30 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Friday at the Funeral Center. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Contributions may be made in his name to the Shrine Burn Center.
