Roger Wayne Deubner

Roger Wayne Deubner, 75 of Indianapolis, IN was born July 30, 1941 and passed away October 13, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to Everett and Estell Deubner, who precede him in death. After graduating from Howe High School, Roger served in the US Army. He was an EMT and Volunteer Fireman in Rockville and also worked at Rockville Corrections in his early years. He retired from Allison in 2010. He loved hunting, fishing and playing pranks but he was a very kind loving soul. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristine Deubner. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Loretta, son, Brian Deubner, daughter, Melissa Benedict, step-son, Michael Reeves, step-daughters, Angelia Evans and Nicole Reeves. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Hancock, niece, Brenda Heizer, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 17, 2016 at Charity Tabernacle, 2700 S Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46241. Arrangements under the direction of Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis 46222. Contributions may be made in Roger’s name to the American Cancer Society.
